We do not provide a service to repair window framework although in some circumstances our glaziers can affect temporary repairs until you contact a suitable frame repairer. In most circumstances where some frame repairs are required we can still replace the broken glass. Your premises would then be secure. New rollers, hinges or locks can be fitted by others at a later date.

Our glazing service includes the changing and or upgrading of glass in all types of buildings. During renovations some customers choose to remove existing old style patterned glass and replace with a more modern style. Customers who have purchased an older home usually require upgrading to a safety glass to protect their children from being injured. All glass is replaced in accordance with Australian Standards AS1288 guidelines.

Our expert glaziers are experienced in glazing all types of windows whether they are made from timber, aluminium or steel. Each window frame manufacturer has their own frame profile, which requires a different glazing technique. Fortunately our glaziers have had many years of experience during which time they have gained the knowledge for glazing in most types of frames. You can be assured we will complete your window glazing to your entire satisfaction.

Aluminium framed windows are available in various styles including sliding, fixed, hopper, casement and spiral sash. Aluminium framed windows because of their low maintenance have become more prevalent in buildings new and old. Unlike timber framed windows they do not suffer rot or require painting. Aluminium frames can be powder coated in a variety of colours.

Timber framed windows were the obvious choice until the introduction of aluminium framed windows. As a result the volume of timber framed window installations has been reduced in new buildings although there is still a strong demand for timber framed windows in renovations. Regular maintenance such as painting or staining is necessary to keep the timber in pristine condition. Glazing in timber frames is either by using timber beads or facing rebates with putty.
